Privacy policy

In order to provide the Service as defined in our Terms of Use, Aitiss needs to collect, store and process the personal data of the Users. Aitiss is committed to comply with the following laws Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties (hereafter referred to as the “Data Protection Act”), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereafter referred to as the “GDPR”).

1. Definitions

User“ means any person or entity that is registered on our Site and/or uses the Service as defined in our Terms of Use

Information we collect automatically: When you use the Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of the Services. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect some of this information.

Cookies are valid for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of the User’s consent.

4. Rights of the Users

Users have the right to access their personal data, which enables them to complete, update, or delete data that is inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, or outdated, or whose collection, use, communication, or storage is prohibited.

The Users also have the right to request the limitation of the processing, and to oppose on legitimate grounds the processing of their personal data. The User may also communicate instructions on the fate of their personal data in the event of their death.

The Users may exercise their rights by sending an email to support@aitiss.com.

These requests shall be processed within a within a period of 30 working days.

The Users may also at any time modify the data pertaining to them by logging on to http://www.aitiss.com  and clicking on “edit my profile”.

The Users may unsubscribe from the Aitiss marketing emails by following the unsubscribe links under each of these emails.

The Users may access detailed information on the use of their personal data by sending a request to our team support@aitiss.com

 

5. Security

Aitiss has taken all the necessary precautions to preserve the security of all personal and other data.

Our data centers are protected with physical security 24/7 with biometric scanners and the best technologies that are currently available. Furthermore, we have DDOS mitigation in place at all of our data centers.

In order to prevent possible corruption our databases are kept separate at all times and we have different layers that segregate user accounts from each other.

Aitiss account passwords are hashed. Even our own employees cannot view them. In case of forgotten or lost password it needs to be reset by the User.

Every login page on our website pass data via SSL.

The entire Aitiss application is encrypted with TLS.

Login pages and logins via the Aitiss API have brute force protection.

     

    6. Changes of the Privacy Policy

    Aitiss reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy to comply with changes in the applicable laws and regulations.

    The Users shall be notified of any changes made to this policy via our website or by email at least 21 days prior, when possible, to their entry into force.
